Trailer IdentificationTRAILERS_identificatie

How do you know which trailer is connected to your truck? With the TrailerBridge concept you instantly know your TrailerID as soon the standard electrical connections are made between truck and trailer.  This solution can also transmit trailerID, truckID and CANbus data between truck and trailer over existing powerlines.

Truck-TrailerbridgeTRAILERS_trucktrailerbridge

Truck TrailerBridge is solution which transmits trailer related data over existing powerlines between the truck and the trailer. There is no need for new wiring looms. The data can be from sensor signals (temperatures, door openings, cooling unit activity), CANbus data from the braking system or other systems, FMS data from the truck etc. The device on the trailer has also a recording function to store all sensor data when the trailer is disconnected for the truck.

Trailer Weight measurementTRAILERS_weight

Many trailers contain sophisticated EBS braking systems. This system can calulate your trailer axle weight. With the Squarell solution you now can add this weight to the FMS CANbus system.

If you want to know the status of the trailerbraking system you can now connect to the modern EBS based braking systems. This interface will give you the information about weight, mileage, etc. to FMS CANbus.

Interfacing to coolingsystemsTRAILERS_Cooling

Squarell has interfaces available for the trailer cooling units like Mitsubishi Pegasus, Carrier (via Datacold) and Thermoking (via I-box). This way the information from the cooling unit and cargo can be added to the FMS CANbus.

Interfacing to Trailer TrackingsystemsTRAILERS_trailer tracking

If you have a Trailer Tracking system with CANbus, then you can get all data from the truck by using Squarell. In the truck you can install a powerline CANbus device which reads processes and stores the FMS CANbus data. When connected to a trailer, this data can be send over the powerline to the trailer, there it is picked up and send to the trailer tracking system. This way a complete truck and trailer telematics system can be realized.

A CANbus sensor box is available to measure the trailer specific conditions. 6 sensor inputs are available which can be set to Temperature, volt or digtal measurements. 2 outputs are available to drive lamp, relays or valves. The sensor box can store the sensordata for upto 40.000 readings. The data can be extracted via Powerline communications or (FMS) CANbus.
